EEG Technician Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an EEG Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts per week, with weekly pay of $1,850.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours per workweek)
• On-call required: 3–4 call shifts per 13-week contract
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays per contract
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• 80 orientation hours required, which may include 5x8-hour day shifts during the first week or two
• May float to Methodist Hospital when needed
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)

Clinical Scope:

You will perform EEG hookups, routines, and monitoring across pediatric and adult populations. Cases include Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, and Critical Care. You must be comfortable working with all age groups, from neonates and infants to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Skills:

• Electrode placement and long-term monitoring/video monitoring
• Portable recording and sleep EEG
• Sleep-deprived EEG
• Collodion/glue EEG hook-up
• Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of EEG experience
• Required certifications: ABRET, BLS, R.EEG T.
• Preferred certifications: CLTM
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma level experience preferred
