Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with 4:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• 12 hours of orientation required
• 1 year of nursing experience required, accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must maintain 4:1 patient ratios across all shifts
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 28-bed unit
• Extensive skill requirements including cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, and various drip titrations
• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
