Respiratory Therapist Job in Bristol, Tennessee

You'll work as a Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics department at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 28, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,203.20
• No on-call responsibilities
• Hospital may cancel one shift bi-weekly without penalty due to census changes
• Additional overtime shifts may be available based on hospital census needs

Your Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy services including ventilator management, ABG interpretation, aerosol treatments, BiPAP/CPAP, chest physiotherapy, and tracheostomy care
• Provide emergency department respiratory care and adult critical care support
• Work with patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• RRTs preferred; CRTs will be considered
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Valid passport or ID required; must live 100+ miles from hospital service area

Onboarding and Pre-Employment

• General orientation begins on Mondays with online CBLs
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Drug test must be completed 12–14 calendar days prior to your start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions available)
• Fit testing required; facial hair must be trimmed to meet CDC guidelines
