Radiation Therapist Job in Shawnee Mission, KS

Shawnee Mission Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. This is an 89-day contract beginning July 27, 2026.

Position Overview

You will deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of radiation oncologists. Your role involves precise patient positioning, operating linear accelerators, maintaining detailed treatment records, and ensuring patient safety throughout the therapeutic process.

Shift and Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts
• 8 hours guaranteed per day
• Overtime available with pre-approval

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,590

Requirements

• Current Radiation Therapist license in Kansas (RADTHER-KS)
• ARRT(T) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiation Therapy)
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Radiation Therapist
• One professional reference from your work history
