ICU RN Job in Lander, WY

You will provide direct critical care nursing to adult patients in an intensive care unit setting at SH SageWest Health Care. This is a 91-day travel assignment with three 12-hour day shifts per week, beginning August 24, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,365.20.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess patient conditions and develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously throughout shifts
• Manage critical medical equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps
• Adjust ventilator settings and IABP devices as clinically indicated
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications per physician orders
• Perform wound care and advanced life support procedures
• Assist physicians with medical procedures and interventions
• Perform suctioning and airway management as needed
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
• Respond to life-threatening situations using established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary critical care teams
• Act as patient advocate and provide education and emotional support to families
• Float between Lander and Riverton campus locations based on census needs

Required qualifications:

• Current Wyoming RN license or active multi-state RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS or ENPC certification (American Heart Association)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required
