Wound Care RN Job in Madison, WI

Join UnityPoint–Meriter Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Wound Care on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work day shifts (5x8 schedule) as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing clinical expertise in patient care and wound management.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care within the Wound Care specialty
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on treatment plans
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Work with Epic electronic health records system

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience preferred
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• One supervisory reference required at submission
• Taxable address outside 50-mile radius of facility (local Madison residents accepted with 10% rate reduction)
• Not employed by UnityPoint Health system in the last 12 months

Schedule & Compensation:

• Days: 36–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Weekly pay: $2,678.40
• New Baseline Obligation (NBO): 16 hours
• Overtime billable after 40 hours (for 36–40 hrs/week) or after 48 hours (for 48 hrs/week)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
