OR - Operating Room

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call requirements: 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Work on 1st floor of main hospital building with 11 operating rooms
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital OR RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Charge experience highly preferred and given priority
• Precepting experience preferred
• Assist with general OR surgeries including Neuro/Spine, CVT, Ortho, GYN, and Robotics procedures
• Work with specialized equipment for various surgical procedures
• Must demonstrate flexibility, easy-going personality, and excellent communication skills
• Night shift coverage includes 1 Charge Nurse, 1 tech in-house, trauma team on-call, neuro tech on-call, and heart team on-call
