RN - Med Surg

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work a varied schedule with flexible shift requirements<br>• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients<br>• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs<br>• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning<br>• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities<br>• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise treatment plans as needed<br>• Document all nursing activities in patient records according to policy requirements<br>• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel<br>• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel and students<br>• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure<br>• BLS certification required<br>• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required<br>• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse<br>• Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred<br>• Professional certification preferred<br>• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This community hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical care with a focus on quality patient outcomes and professional nursing practice.
