Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work in an Interventional Radiology department with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift staffing includes 2 techs per room and 1 nurse per room
• Night shift staffing includes 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
• Rotate every 7th weekend
• One night secondary on-call shift required during the week
• Scrub and circulate for Interventional Radiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate for neurointerventional Radiology procedures
• Perform and assist with procedures including dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, and Inari cases
• Perform and assist with cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
• Operate single plane GE equipment and biplane Philips equipment
• Use Cerner (Radnet) EMR system
• Invasive CT scanner available in department
• Float to VOR as needed
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Vascular OR experience preferred
• Cath Lab experience preferred
• VI Registered preferred
• Required certification: BLS
