Telemetry RN Job in Joplin, Missouri

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Patient ratio of 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees)
• 2+ years of stepdown or ICU experience in an acute care hospital required
• Must be competent with insulin drips, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Current RN license required (must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Experience with post-operative surgical patients and traumas preferred
• Care for post cardiac catheterization patients, atrial fibrillation, CHF, general medical overflow, stable MI patients, medical cardiac cases, and pacemaker insertions
• Work with IV pumps, computers, glucometers, GE monitoring equipment, and EPIC EMR system
• Weekend hours and call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• Must wear black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 - April 1
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire week
• Flexible, dependable, and hardworking with strong teamwork skills required
