<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Registered Nurse - CVOR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM<br>• Call required every 3rd weekend and 1-2 nights per week<br>• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends<br>• Minimum 1 year CVOR experience required, no scrubbing required<br>• Must have 2 years of nursing experience and travel experience<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS<br>• Kentucky license or compact license required<br>• EPIC charting system experience required<br>• Must be competent with level 3&#39;s/4&#39;s on skills list including: CABG, Aortic Valves, Mitral Valves, Tricuspid valves, TAVR, Aortic arch and root replacements with circulatory arrest, ECMO, Impella insertions, open thoracotomies, laparoscopic thoracoscopies, mediastinscopies, and other related chest procedures<br>• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• 24 hours of orientation provided<br>• May be required to float to different units<br>• Block scheduling type<br>• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract<br>• Two pre-approved time off periods allowed</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program with a 15-room cardiovascular operating suite.
