Physical Therapist Job in Tuba City, AZ

Tuba City Regional is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its team and provide comprehensive physical therapy services to a predominantly Native American population. You will work with inpatients and outpatients ranging from infants through geriatric patients, delivering evidence-based treatment and evaluation across multiple specialty areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting physical therapy evaluations and implementing treatment plans for diverse patient populations
• Delivering specialty services including wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic support, geriatric care, high school clinic services, functional assessments, spinal cord clinic treatment, and assistive technology and adaptive equipment evaluation
• Managing and implementing the Physical Therapy program with a focus on continuing quality improvement, risk management, and safety initiatives
• Developing and maintaining physical therapy policies and procedures
• Supporting Joint Commission preparation through staff education, reporting, and in-service meetings
• Overseeing the Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetic Orthotic Supply Program
• Participating in a regular work week schedule with weekend rotation for inpatient coverage

Requirements: You must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted PT license from any U.S. state, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. A Bachelor's degree from a CAPTE-accredited school of Physical Therapy is required. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with outpatient experience required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory. You must meet credentialing requirements for the Medical Staff and successfully clear fingerprint background screening prior to your start date.

Position Details: This is an 84-week assignment beginning January 25, 2027. You will work 5 days per week on day shifts (8-hour shifts). Weekly pay is $2,763.
