Monitor Technician Job in Philadelphia, PA

You will support the telemetry unit at Temple University – Jeanes Campus as a Monitor Technician, working 3 twelve-hour day shifts over a 90-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

• Observe patient rhythms continuously on telemetry monitors and assess baseline cardiac patterns
• Communicate any changes in patient rhythms to nursing staff according to department protocols
• Maintain inventory of telemetry and cardiac monitoring supplies
• Track telemetry transmitters and submit supply orders as needed
• Assess equipment for malfunctions or breakdowns and report issues promptly
• Perform clerical, receptionist, and unit support duties to organize nursing unit activities
• Maintain the physical environment of the unit and ensure adequate supplies and equipment availability
• Coordinate efficient bed turnover and manage transportation needs for inter-hospital transports
• File documents and maintain orderly, comprehensive medical records for all patients
• Submit telemetry charges and all appropriate records as assigned

You will work as an Allied Health Professional in a fast-paced hospital setting where your attention to cardiac monitoring and communication skills directly support patient safety. This role requires you to balance technical equipment management with clinical awareness and coordination across the nursing team.

Compensation and details: Weekly pay is $1,404. You will work day shifts to fit your schedule and preference for daytime hours.
