Occupational Therapist Job in Santa Maria, CA

You will provide home-based occupational therapy services to patients across a designated geographical region in Santa Maria, CA. This is a 91-day travel assignment with Dignity Health Home Health & Hospice – Santa Maria.

Schedule & Pay

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts (5x8)
• Primary hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every 3rd weekend requirement
• Work minor holidays; major holidays only if needed
• Weekly pay: $2,394.40
• Assignment begins April 21, 2026

Your Role

• Treat patients with orthopedic conditions, strokes, joint injuries, and spinal injuries
• Deliver therapy in home settings across your assigned region
• Document care using the Cerner electronic medical record system
• Complete OASIS (government-mandated form) assessments

Requirements

• Minimum one year of occupational therapy experience
• Current BLS certification
• Home setting experience preferred but not required
• Experience with OASIS required

Logistics

• Floor-specific orientation: 1.5–2 weeks
• Flexible scheduling with potential for shift cancellation (up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment)
• Business attire with white lab coat required; no jeans
