ICU RN Job in Pendleton, OR

CHI St Anthony Hospital is seeking an RN for the Intensive Care Unit in Pendleton, OR. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,439.

Schedule and Staffing

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirements are negotiable
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3; unstable ventilator patients receive 1:1 care
• One CNA assigned to the day shift for departmental support
• Charge RN carries a patient assignment with a supervisor available 24/7
• Hospitalist and respiratory therapy staff on-site 24/7

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV, and influenza
• Manage all age populations, including occasional stable pediatric patients
• Ventilator management and drip titration required
• Titratable drips include heparin, vasopressors, Bumex, insulin, sedation, and analgesia
• Work with ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Read telemetry strips for medical-surgical patients
• Assist as a helping hand when floating if not fully cross-trained to other departments
• Report within 30 minutes of call if placed on low census

Requirements and Orientation

• Current Oregon nursing license required; 90-day Oregon Emergency License available if needed
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• BSN not required
• Unit-specific orientation is 3–6 shifts, extended if needed
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Navy blue scrubs required
