Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Seasonal travel RN position in a Level IV NICU with 42 beds
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1 depending on patient acuity
• Work alongside a team consisting of 1 CNC, 14-17 RNs, and 1 unit coordinator per shift
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Level IV NICU experience required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• PICU experience for floating and post-surgical care experience preferred
• Work with equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, tracheostomy, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, titrated medications, chest tubes, and Arctic Sun
• EMR systems used: Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
• Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and ROP exams
• High degree of professionalism, accountability, and emotional regulation in high-acuity environments expected
