CVOR Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a travel position in Columbia, SC. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts in a cardiovascular operating room setting with both scrub and circulate responsibilities.

Role Details:

• Work across 5 operating rooms and 6 beds in the cardiovascular surgical services department
• Perform procedures including angioplasty and stenting, aortic aneurysm repair, and coronary artery bypass graft surgery
• Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling, and universal protocol procedures
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training
• Current BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification or NCCT certification (if employed as a Surgical Tech in South Carolina prior to January 1, 2008)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

On-Call and Schedule:

• On-call requirements vary by specialty: Vascular calls span 7–10 days including weekends; Hearts calls span 10–15 days with 2 weekends
• Weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Onboarding:

• 30-hour orientation period with required modules completed within 48 hours

Compensation and Duration:

Weekly pay is $2,563.20 for a 91-day assignment beginning June 29, 2026. You must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position.
