Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
• Float to other units or campuses required if needed
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient diagnoses include CAD S/P CABG, Cardiac Valve Repair, Lung Cancer S/P VATS, and Esophageal Cancer
• Must have experience with post-surgical cardiovascular patients
• Cardiac drips and insulin drip experience required, including titration
• Must pass facility EKG exam prior to start
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias required
• Skills required include blood product administration, central line care/management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, pacemaker management, PCA, PICC line management, and peripheral line care
• Medication system used is Omnicell
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• 2 years of experience in field required; first-time travelers must have 3 years of experience within specialty
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, arrhythmia certification, and SC RN license
