RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with after-hours call rotation
• No New Year's Eve shift required
• On-call is required with 10 call shifts per month, including weekend call
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Strong experience with intervention and performing STEMI required
• Comfort with EP devices required
• Procedures include: Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, Rotablator, Pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, Stents, Thrombectomy, Balloon Angioplasty, and PCI
• Skills required include: Angioplasty, Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardiac Stent Placement, Carotid Stenting, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Pacemaker Insertion, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Renal Artery Stent Placement, Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Stent Placement, Thoracentesis, TAVR, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Watchman Procedure, and Siemens X-ray system
• TAVR and EP experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 6–10 patients across 2 rooms
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required
