OR RN Job in Columbus, NE

You'll work as an Operating Room RN at Columbus Community Hospital, a rural facility serving the Columbus, NE community. This 89-day travel assignment runs 4x9 days on day shift, starting May 18, 2026, at $2,664 weekly.

Your Role:

• Scrub and circulate surgical cases across 4 OR suites plus additional rooms for minor procedures
• Circulate for OBGYN (including C-sections), orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and ENT procedures
• Assist with room turnover and cleaning between cases
• Support PACU as second RN during callback cases (you will not recover patients independently)
• Work closely with visiting physicians for specialty clinics, including ENT and orthopedics

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of operating room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Comfort with total joint and orthopedic cases
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• CPI or MOAB certification (training available on-site for $150 if not already certified)
• Respiratory fit test for 3M N95 or 1860 models

What to Expect:

You'll practice in a rural hospital setting where proficiency with diverse case types is essential. The facility provides scrubs. You'll badge in and out for time tracking and submit hours in Triage Plus by noon CST every Monday.
