Emergency Department RN Job in Wichita, Kansas

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in the Emergency Department at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, at a weekly rate of $1,708.20.

About the Role

You will join a 14-bed Emergency Department where you care for patients with a typical ratio of 1:3–4. As part of the night shift team alongside the charge RN and multiple staff RNs, you will perform standard emergency department procedures including central line insertion, chest tube placement, thoracic lavage, and intubations. Strong independent judgment, self-motivation, and excellent communication with both clinical staff and providers are essential to success in this role.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
• Competency with Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• IO (Intraosseous) training
