Surgical Tech - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with occasional long shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM when cases run over
• One late shift required per week
• 13-week assignment duration
• Handle approximately 100 cases per day across 10 procedure rooms
• Required certifications: SGNA and BLS
• Minimum 2+ years of endoscopy experience required
• Therapeutic experience required
• Float between Honickman Center and TJUH locations (3-minute walk apart) with rotation schedule provided in two-week increments
• Call requirement: 7 days of call per 13-week assignment (may be one full week or individual days)
• Weekend and holiday work only if on call
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Assist endoscopists with procedures including advanced therapeutic procedures
• Oversee setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced endoscopic equipment
• Aid in collection and preparation of specimens
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• First-time travelers welcome
• Must complete Pass/Fail exam (3 attempts maximum)
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
