Telemetry RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as an RN on a 36-bed neurosciences unit located on the 6th floor of Mission Hospital's Main Campus A Tower in Asheville, NC. This is a travel position with a 91-day contract starting May 25, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3x12 day shifts: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• $2,102.40 weekly

Role Details

You'll provide direct patient care with a 5:1 or 6:1 patient ratio on day shift (7:1 stretch on night shift if floated). Your responsibilities include IV starts, Foley insertion, and standard medical-surgical procedures. You'll use the Cerner EMR system and work alongside a charge nurse, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC during day shift; nights have 2 CNAs and 1 HUC.

Float assignments to other med-surge floors may occur as staffing needs require.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification
• NIH certification
• Neuroscience experience preferred

What to Expect

Navy blue scrubs are required. A new staff reference book will be provided at the start of your contract. You'll work with standard med-surge equipment in a collaborative team environment on a dedicated neurosciences unit.
