CVOR Technologist

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• May be required to stay late 1-2 times per week for on-call coverage
• 1:1 patient ratio
• CVOR experience is mandatory - no exceptions
• Minimum of 2 prior travel assignments required - no exceptions
• Certification is mandatory
• Required certifications: BLS
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Critical care experience is required; PreOp experience is a plus
• Must be proficient with BCMA and Cerner documentation system
• Must have excellent documentation skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area
• Strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication skills with interdepartmental teams required
• Experience with GE Carescape monitoring and Fuji ultrasound equipment
• Floating within scope of practice and experience may be required
• Uniform/scrubs provided
