ED RN Job in Shawnee Mission, KS

You will work in the Emergency Department at Shawnee Mission Medical Center as a registered nurse. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 6, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Work three 12-hour nightshifts per week, totaling 36 hours guaranteed
• No call requirements
• Weekend requirements: six weekend shifts per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Friday counting as weekend for nightshift)
• The scheduler will attempt to cohort weekend shifts to every other weekend when possible
• No float requirements

Compensation

You will earn $1,960.49 per week.

Role Expectations

• You must be available to adjust hours based on staffing needs
• National certification is required for non-licensed professionals
• This position does not use skills-based hiring

You will be part of an acute care team in a hospital emergency department setting. The role offers the structure of a guaranteed schedule with flexibility in how the facility manages coverage during peak demand periods.
