<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - CRTs will not be considered<br>• Minimum 2 years experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services as RRT required<br>• Must be able to work shift alone/independently<br>• Experience with ventilators, ICU, ED, blood gases, floor therapies, nebulizers and inhalers required<br>• EPIC experience required<br>• Graduate of an AMA-Approved School of Respiratory Therapy required<br>• Must have own vehicle for assignment<br>• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours<br>• Weekend and holiday coverage required<br>• Maximum 5 days of requested time off will be accepted (must be noted at upload)<br>• Provide highly specialized patient care services to critical care units and consult services to general surgical and medical floor units<br>• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and family in scheduling and providing treatments<br>• Document patient interactions and bill for services rendered<br>• Administer medications according to written orders and report adverse reactions<br>• Respond to all codes, rapid response teams, emergencies, and patient transports as required<br>• Perform all blood gas tasks including drawing, analyzing, equipment maintenance, and QA/QC<br>• Perform mechanical ventilation management within specified guidelines, protocols, and physician orders<br>• Ensure all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to manufacturer&#39;s specifications<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)<br>• New Hampshire license required<br>• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 25-bed hospital provides comprehensive respiratory care services with a mission to deliver the highest quality respiratory care to patients and visitors. The respiratory care department focuses on advancing the science of respiratory care through collaboration with staff and referral organizations, utilizing education, research, and improvement in clinical practice.
