Interventional Radiology RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Interventional Radiology department in Phoenix, Arizona. This 91-day travel assignment runs from July 6, 2026, and pays $2,592 per week.

Schedule and Hours

• 4x10 shift options: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call shifts average 4–5 per month
• Occasional Saturday shifts 1–2 times monthly with possible holiday requirements
• Two-shift, floor-specific orientation required

Role Responsibilities

You will support interventional radiology procedures across five angiography rooms, two CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine equipment. Case types include chemo embolization, Y-90, GJ tubes, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT-guided biopsies, ablations, ultrasound-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis. You will document in Cerner EMR, monitor telemetry, manage ventilator patients, and perform or assist with Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Neuro interventional radiology experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• IR RN certification or ICU RN with documented IR experience
• Telemetry and ventilator experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications current
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed) prior to start
• Ability to pass SIMs Lab on Day 1 covering Foley insertion and central line dressing technique
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle

Scrubs are provided by the facility. The hospital maintains professional appearance standards: natural hair color required, no facial piercings, and men must be clean shaven for fit-test compliance.
