MRI Technologist Job in Portland, OR

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 4x10 night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday, plus every Saturday night for weekend coverage. You'll also have a call requirement of 2 shifts per month.

What You'll Do

• Perform MRI imaging on patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics
• Execute various MRI procedures including abdomen, brain, cervical, lumbar, and spinal trauma imaging
• Operate T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging, MRA, and MRV procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:1 during night shifts with a daily census of 5 patients across 2 MRI rooms
• Float within the site and across the system as required

What You'll Need

• 1 year of MRI experience
• Current ARRT MRI certification
• OBMI certification
• BLS certification
• Oregon State License (required with submission)
• Proficiency with Siemens equipment preferred

Important Details

• You cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
• You must complete assigned education within one week of assignment; pre-start modules average 4–8 hours and are non-billable
• Refusal to float will result in contract cancellation

Your weekly pay is $2,544.48. You'll start on May 10, 2026.
