Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Waterloo, IA

You'll work as an RN in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, providing specialized nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This is a 90-day travel assignment starting June 22, 2026.

Your Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 days)
• Call rotation required every 3 weeks
• Every third weekend schedule required

Your Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients during catheterization and respond to clinical changes
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Provide pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure care
• Educate patients about procedures, expectations, and recovery
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately

Compensation

You'll receive $2,802.80 weekly. ADEX Healthcare Staffing handles your travel arrangements, housing, and credentialing support throughout your assignment.

Requirements

• Current RN license valid in Iowa
• Experience in cardiac catheterization or similar acute-care nursing preferred
• Ability to work call rotation and weekend schedules
• Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills
