Pediatrics RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a travel assignment in Oklahoma City. This 89-day contract begins April 20, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,530.80 weekly.

In this role, you will care for pediatric patients with health problems ranging from straightforward to complex. You'll work across multiple units including acute care, surgical, behavioral health, medical specialty (GI, neuro, respiratory), hematology oncology, step-down, and cardiac pediatrics. You may also float to the NICU for feeder-grower and low-acuity patients only.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage assigned patient groups and document responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Administer medications, manage IV infusions and blood products, and monitor physiological data with timely intervention
• Provide tracheostomy care and manage high-flow oxygen therapy
• Perform infusion therapy and serve as first line for skills support
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicate with families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate

Requirements:

• Current Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact license
• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications current
• Availability for weekend and holiday work
