CT Technologist Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. You'll work overnight shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday on a 4x10 schedule, earning $2,460 per week.

Role Overview

You'll perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures in the Emergency Department with float coverage as needed. Your responsibilities include:

• Operate three CT scanners: Philips 128 Ingenuity (primary ER scanner for nights), Philips Brilliance 64, and Philips Big Bore 16
• Perform CT studies of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Initiate IV access for patients
• Administer studies with and without contrast media
• Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatient and outpatient populations under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved CT Technologist program
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Arizona state CT license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy
