ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 13-week contract duration
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required between multiple locations
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• 3+ years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Patients treated across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Respiratory care and blood testing completed by nurse
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services and radiology
• Daily census of 26 with 11 rooms and 11 beds
• Skills required include triage, IV vasopressors, arterial line management, chest tube management, care of ventilated patients, procedural sedation, management of dysrhythmias, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction among others
