RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Weekend coverage required
• Self-scheduling available
• Patient ratios: 1:4-6 acuity based for days, MS patients 1:5-6 ratio, PCU patients 1:3-4
• Float required as needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have solid neuro experience
• Experience required with cardizem, amiodarone, lasix, insulin drips, post heart cath, and post pacemaker procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date
• Scrub color: red top, black bottoms
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking provided
• Care for mixed acuity unit with medical patients and some PCU level patients
• Handle oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal and pulmonary patients
• Manage unstable strokes and BiPap patients
• Work with cardiac drips including titration
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
