ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment ideal for nurses looking to expand their ED experience while supporting inpatient hold operations.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 days per week with every other weekend rotation required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: May 10, 2026

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatient hold patients with appropriate RN ratios and acuity levels
• Manage varying patient acuity levels in the emergency department setting
• Demonstrate flexibility to work between the inpatient hold area and the main emergency department as needed
• Preferred ability to accept emergency department patients in addition to hold assignments

Compensation

• Weekly Pay: $2,342.34
