Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing routine and delegated duties according to hospital standards and policies
• Scrub for surgical procedures for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients
• Clean instruments and rooms, pick cases, monitor inventory and stock OR rooms
• Provide care based on age-related needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients
• Consider developmental/psychosocial needs, environmental safety, educational needs, communication style, and level of understanding
• Call responsibilities required
• Weekend coverage required - every other weekend
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Required certifications: BLS and CST (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Modules completed during orientation (1-5 hours average, non-billable)
