About this role

AU Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Float RN for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 16, 2026. You will work day shifts Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts and on-call availability as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
  • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to population-specific characteristics such as age, gender, and disease
  • Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods including bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching
  • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities
  • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
  • Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, staff, or students
  • Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research
  • Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources

Requirements:

  • Current RN License (Single State or Multi-State Compact)
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred
  • Less than 1 year of experience accepted; direct patient care experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive and composed manner
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills

You will earn $1,864.80 per week. This is an excellent opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.
