Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week schedule available
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirement
• Float requirement within facility
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for all shifts
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Ortho experience required (hard stop)
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Epic charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Care for patients with total knee/hip replacements, spinal fusions, and women's overflow including hysterectomies
• Work with frequent wound vacs and drains
• Required skills: cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, respiratory care, isolation precautions
• Preferred experience with total joint replacement procedures
• Must complete pre-start modules (8-10 hours for acute care)
