ED RN Job in Odessa, TX

Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking registered nurses for the Emergency Department. This is a travel position with two openings available.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Stroke certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care planning and decision-making
• Establish and communicate care priorities based on patient acuity and available staff resources
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
• Ensure safe, compliant care delivery in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Lead and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in the Emergency Department setting

A 30-minute lunch break is provided during each shift. You will work in a fast-paced, acute-care environment where your clinical expertise and leadership skills directly impact patient outcomes.
