PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work on a 25-bed inpatient acute care unit with capacity for up to 27 patients including ED holds
• Day shift staffing includes charge nurse plus 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs/HUC
• Night shift staffing includes charge nurse plus 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs
• Rotating weekends required with flexibility in scheduling
• Float to the Emergency Department as needed
• Work with equipment including BiPAP, Vapotherm, lifts, Baxter pumps, telemetry, and continuous O2 monitoring
• Use Cerner as the electronic medical records system
• Telemetry experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Perform wound care and other unit procedures
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ALS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills preferred
