ICU RN Job in Portland, ME

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Day shifts run from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 75% weekend hours required
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Float pool position requiring flexibility to float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience
• May also float to IMC units within the organization with patient ratios of 1:3
• Patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU and 1:3 in IMC
• Care for basic ICU patients including sedated, intubated, and patients on pressors across SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and CICU
• High complexity patients such as CRRT are not expected
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color is non-specific
• Unacceptable attire includes open-toed shoes (including crocs), jeans, clothing with large logos or print, and profanity
• Candidate must demonstrate outstanding patient care focus, strong team communication, and flexibility with assignments including potentially multiple different assignments within the same shift
