First Assist Technician Job in Daytona Beach, FL

You'll work as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) at FH Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a 13-week travel assignment with the potential for extension.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week with guaranteed 40 hours weekly
• Weekly pay: $1,715.56
• Start date: April 6, 2026

Role Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of surgical assistant or first assistant experience
• Current BLS certification required
• CERT-NBSTSA-CSFA certification required
• Strong experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, and Robotics

Call and On-Call Expectations

• Minimum 1–2 call shifts per week
• 1 weekend 24-hour call per month
• Call options: Option 1 (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) or Option 2 (5:00 PM – 7:30 PM)
• Variable days-off schedule

Additional Details

• You may be asked to float to other facilities within the health system
• Hunter green scrubs are required and not provided by the facility
• Weekend day coverage includes administrative support during day hours and charge nurse coverage at night
