PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a travel nursing position running 89 days, with a start date of July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $1,838.02
• Unit size: 28 beds with cardiac patient population
• Patient ratio: 1:3–4

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain
• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters and respond to patient changes
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower-acuity patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Current RN license valid in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a similarly sized facility
• PCU experience must be reflected in your work history
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
