Job Details:

• Provide clinical patient care including screenings, evaluations and treatments for speech language pathology
• Work with a wide variety of diagnoses, disorders, and age ranges
• Document diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, discharge summaries, recommendations, progress reports, daily treatment records, and home programs
• Ensure written documentation meets TJC, Medicare, and general professional standards
• Utilize time efficiently to meet or exceed departmental standards
• Prioritize workload to assist other staff members in overload or emergency situations
• Update or develop state-of-the-art evaluation or treatment protocols
• Provide educational training to hospital staff and community as requested
• Attend 95% of all scheduled departmental, in-service, and team meetings
• Orient, supervise, and evaluate practicum students and graduate interns as requested
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required
• Valid Oklahoma State License to practice Speech Language Pathology required
• Zero to six months of related experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and families
• Basic computer knowledge needed for data input and reporting
