Sterile Processing Technician

Opportunity:

SPT - Central Sterile

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Day shift variable shifts available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• One routine weekend call monthly (Friday night through Monday morning)
• One holiday weekend may be required per contract period
• No on-call requirements beyond monthly weekend call
• No additional weekend requirements
• Work in a sterile processing department supporting 6 operating rooms
• Operate equipment including 2 large steam sterilizers, 2 small steam sterilizers, 2 VPROs, Medivator, ultrasonic cleaner, 2 washers, and a cart washer
• Use Meditech/Censitrac EMR systems for SPD documentation
• Support surgical procedures including orthopedics, cranial, spine, general, bariatrics, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and more
• Maintain 1:1 ratio in the OR
• May float to Idaho Surgery Center as needed
• Scrubs provided by facility
• At least 1 year of sterile processing experience required
• Certification not required but preferred
• Ideal candidate is independent, a team player, honest, motivated, driven, and light-hearted
