Ultrasound Technologist Job in Havre, MT

Northern Montana Health Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 15, 2026. You will work days performing ultrasound procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director.

About the Role

In this position, you will perform radiographic and ultrasound procedures as an independent practitioner at a technical level. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and radiographic procedures according to established protocols
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
• Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required
• Demonstrate knowledge relative to the age groups of patients you serve
• Work collaboratively with the Radiology department team

What You Need

You must hold an Allied Health Professional credential with radiologic technology and ultrasound experience. You are required to be a graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology accredited by the ARRT and hold current ARRT registration. Current licensure by the State of Montana and the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists is mandatory.

Assignment Details

This is a day-shift position with weekly compensation of $2,920. The assignment runs for 91 days at Northern Montana Health Center in Havre, Montana.

Eligibility Note

Travelers who reside in Montana are not eligible for this assignment unless they live more than 250 miles from the facility.
