Job Details:

• Work night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday coverage
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 patients
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Candidates will float within hospital within scope of practice
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 120 visits per day in a 54-bed emergency department
• Work in specialized units including 2 locked behavioral health units with 1:6 ratios supported by security team
• Provide care in 2 rapid evaluation units for urgent care and critical care needs
• Skills include arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, trauma care, and stroke management
• Complete virtual modules on first day (up to 8 hours, non-billable)
• Annual flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
