CVICU RN Job in Vero Beach, FL

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac and Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). You will provide direct patient care in a mixed ICU setting serving both cardiac and neuro populations.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,789.20
• Location: Vero Beach, FL

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 18 months ICU experience; 2 years preferred
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac and neuro patient populations
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of application
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• Epic charting proficiency at level 3 or 4

Core Competencies

• CVICU care including post-cardiac surgery management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
• Hemodynamic monitoring: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), pulmonary artery lines, arterial lines, central lines
• Continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Advanced airway management: mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, endotracheal and nasotracheal suctioning
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
• Standard isolation precautions and PPE compliance

Additional Information

• You will float across three hospitals within 20 miles as needed
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be submitted with your application
• Local candidates are welcome at the same pay rate
