Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Level 3 or higher NICU or minimum 1 year of PICU experience
• Will work in both neonatal and pediatric units depending on facility need
• First-time travelers will be accepted
• Pennsylvania state license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 40 orientation hours required
• Weekend coverage required
• Skills required include: aerosol setup, BiPAP, bubble CPAP, capillary blood gases, CPAP, direct intubation (including neonatal), ET tube management, high flow nasal cannula, high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, nitric oxide, oscillating ventilator, pulmonary hygiene, tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and more
