Cath Lab Technologist Job in Merced, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Mercy Medical Center Merced, performing a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures in a growing department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Schedule and Environment

• 5x8 day shifts, 8-hour shifts beginning at 9:30 AM
• Caseload varies from 0 to 5–6 cases per day
• Currently one cath lab with plans to expand to two labs
• Possible call shifts may be required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
• Assist with peripheral procedures, diagnostic catheterizations, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filter placements
• Scrubbing required for all Cath Lab Technologist duties
• Mentor and help train new nursing staff
• Work with GE equipment
• Document using Cerner, Sensis, and Merge charting systems

Experience and Knowledge

You will have hands-on experience with balloon pumps and STEMI cases. Your background in cardiac catheterization procedures will support the facility's patient care goals.

Required Credentials

• ACLS certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy certification

Compensation and Terms

• Weekly pay: $4,058.80
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks
• 50-mile radius rule applies
