Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job in Augusta, GA

You will work as a Physical Therapist in a 28-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at Doctors Hospital - Augusta GA. This is a Monday through Friday position from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 8-hour shifts and flexible start and end times.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Treating an average of 3–4 patients per day, with a caseload of 4–6 patients (occasionally up to 5 patients treated per day)
• Performing wound care procedures on the unit
• Using specialized equipment including hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system
• Documenting patient care in the Meditech system

This position operates under a no floating policy, meaning you remain on your assigned unit. During the 13-week assignment, 2 weekends are required, added to the regular staff rotation with 2 additional days off during the week.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation preferred
• Familiarity with the Care Tool preferred
